The song was written and performed, by the band Faith No More, during the recording sessions for their 1989 album "The Real Thing" (along with 2 other songs, "The Cowboy Song" and a Jim Martin guitar solo called "The Grade". Both of which would appear at the end of their live album, "Live at the Brixton Academy"). This was some of the earliest songs with then new vocalist Mike Patton. Not used for "The Real Thing" album, it would be used 2 years later for the soundtrack to the 1991 movie "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey", which itself was the sequel to the 1989 movie "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure". The song would also be included on "This Is It: The Best of Faith No More". There is an earlier version of this with different lyrics and some slight vocal differences, and was titled "Sweet Emotion". It can only be found on bootlegs and second-hand rarity compilations, but it has never been officially released by the band or record company. THE PERFECT CRIME LYRICS: Girl listens to mom So she lights a match and pretends to sleep while everything burns Man drives nowhere So he pressed the pedal, hit a few dogs and felt good Boy hears teacher's words So he closed his eyes and stepped in front of a train Woo! Woops! Sorry 'bout that It's just an accident Revenge Nobody forgets Chop it into bits The bitterness is hard to hide It smells like homicide Just nod and say it's OK I can hear your voice echo OK I lied-it's really the voice of the guy who kicked your head in Look in the ... www.autodesk.ru Inventor Publisher. Fan made video of Metallica's For whom the bell tolls off of their album Ride the Lightning. Metallica: James Hetfield (rhythm guitar, vocals) Kirk Hammett (lead guitar) Lars Ulrich (drums) Cliff Burton (recorded bass) Robert Trujillo ( current bass) Tabs (guitar): www.ultimate-guitar.com Lyrics: Make his fight on the hill in the early day Constant chill deep inside Shouting gun, on they run through the endless gray On they fight, for they are right, yes, but who's to say? For a hill, men would kill. Why? They do not know Stiffend wounds test their pride Men of five, still alive through the raging glow Gone insane from the pain that they surely know For whom the bell tolls Time marches on For whom the bell tolls Take a look to the sky just before you die It's the last time YOU will Blackened roar, massive roar, fills the crumbling sky Shattered goal fills his soul with a ruthless cry Stranger now are his eyes to this mystery He hears the silence so loud Crack of dawn, all is gone except the will to be Now they see what will be, blinded eyes to see For whom the bell tolls Time marches on For whom the bell tolls "For Whom the Bell Tolls" is a song by Metallica, the third track from their second album Ride the Lightning. The song was composed by Cliff Burton, James Hetfield, and Lars Ulrich and the lyrics are based on Ernest Hemingway's novel For Whom the Bell Tolls.
