JRR Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring". This is an UNABRIDGED audio-book of Tolkien's classic work read by Rob Inglis. The art-work seen throughout these videos is from artists such as John Howe, Alan Lee, Ted Nasmith, Anke Eissman, the Brothers Hildebrandt, Roger Garland, various artists from around the internet, an many whose pictures I found at Deviant Art, & of course, pictures also done by Tolkien himself. Obviously The Lord of the Rings is not my own work, I just happen to hold Tolkien's writings in high esteem ^_^ I've put these videos together because I hope to share the book that has always held a special place in my heart & mind. I enjoy reading Tolkien's books on a dark, rainy day personally. I hope ye get the chance to do the same, though many people in this day & age have no desire to read books O_o .... Feeding the mind is a dying exercise it seems. So for those that don't know what they're missing, here is my second choice, the audio-book. Check out "The Hobbit" audio-book on my primary account, ThrobnWood ( no sexual innuendo intended, it's actually a word play on 'Robin Hood' ). And if I'd known back then that I'd actually end up making friends & posting uploads, I would've named that account Haamurabai ._. As it is, I had to start this account so I could upload these LOTR vids. My other account has copyright issues with some of my vids & wont allow me to upload longer than 15min videos. This is JRR Tolkien's 'The Hobbit'. A classic on so many levels methinks^_^ This reading of the book by Nicol Williamson is an abridged version, meaning of course that it is not the entire book word for word. Anywho, I put some pictures in with the vid, though they're not in sync with the story. That's what your imagination is for.. O_o And if ye're anything like me, ye'll know that reading a book like The Hobbit, or LOTR & using your imagination to see the world, to create those memorable feelings, is immeasurably more satisfying than watching any movie. Not dissing the LOTR movies here peoples, I quite enjoy the.. first one, but they're just movies with no-where near the feeling of the books. That being said, I like perrty pictures too & so I put some in here just because. Suggestion: Forget the pictures, have a quiet room, close yours eyes, sit back & listen. With any luck it's a rainy day. I always seemed to love reading LOTR & The Hobbit on rainy days..

This is a monumental story that is mostly present on the required reading list, thats why I believe this story should be free to enjoy. As it is a cultural monument. This way lazy students can still enjoy and learn from the message. ;)

Hey Hunger Fans! So, I worked my ass off last night and got to post this video for you guys. I slave over a hot computer to give you guys your videos! :D Just to let you know, I'm going to try my hardest to upload a new video once a week so I hope you'll all be patient with me! Also, I did get a new microphone for Christmas (a professional $100 one, at that!) so Chapter 4 and on is going to sound pretty crisp and sharp! I can't wait to show you guys so stay tuned for more. As usual, I do not own Hunger Games. All those rights go to Suzanne Collins. I am merely a fan (perhaps her biggest?!) of the series. Here it is, Hunger Fans, the entire thing of Chapter 4. I decided not to break it down into parts anymore, just upload the entire video as it is without breaking it up. That way, no one has to wait for parts anymore to finish up a chapter! Also, as you may have noticed, I took the votes and tallied them up and the amount of people who wanted the video this way was staggering! I feel that this is the best way mostly because I get videos out faster and you guys are satisfied longer. If you are concerned about the subtitles, whether it's because English is your second language or you just liked them a lot, try out the CC option. This video is kind of like a trial and error for the CC system. If it works out, let me know in the comments below. If it doesn't, still let me know and for my next video, I'll try to make adjustments. Of course, I can't please everyone but know that I went with the most number of votes so it is a fair decision. I hope I didn't piss off any fans in the process. As usual, the work of The Hunger Games Series belongs to the author Suzanne Collins and this time, these pictures are from the movie so they belong to the movie company (whose name escapes me at the moment..) who made them/is making the movie. The only thing I own is my voice! (Yay!) I really hope you guys enjoy and are patient with me for getting the next one out.
