A timelapse of Planet Earth from Electro-L, a geostationary satellite orbiting 40000km above the Earth. The satellite creates a 121 megapixel image every 30 minutes with four visible and infrared light wavelengths. The infrared light appears orange in these images, and shows vegetation. The images were obtained beginning on May 14th, 2011 and end on May 20th. The images are the largest whole disk images of our planet, the resolution is 1 kilometer per pixel. The images are "masked" by a circular barrier that blocks out the light of the Sun and other stars. This is to prevent damage to the camera by exposure to direct sunlight. The images have been interpolated (blended) to create a smooth animation. Images Copyright NTs OMZ. Though "Do You Remember" is the first chapter released from a short film based to music from Ane's forthcoming album "It all starts with One", it is the third chapter in the film that houses no fewer than four orchestrated songs to be premiered in autumn 2011. The Director for the whole project Magnus Renfors, says of the venture: "Ane's music is like a great ocean housed under the roof of a great old theater, where pictures are hung from the threads of the music shooting out, so it really does the job itself. That said, the images require a certain height and a substantively dramatic level, otherwise the music, sometimes so sublime and skin tingling, can rush over the head of the visual aspects. Ane and I have done stuff together since 2003 and already on the last album we talked about doing something bigger, more coherent, and this time it was really the one. Kenichi Ito, for close to 10 years, has been mastering the art of running on four legs. Ito has studied Africa's wiry Patas monkey in hopes of mimicking its style. Most of us got picked on in school at some point, but not all of us take that playground taunting as a life's ambition. "You know my face and body kind of looks like a monkey, so from a young age everyone used to tease me, saying 'monkey, monkey.' But I wasn't really bothered because I really liked them, and somewhere inside of me I had this ambition to adopt one of their traits," Ito told the International Business Times. Usain Bolt might be the fastest man on two feet, but remember that Kenichi Ito holds the world record as the fastest man running 100 meters on all fours, with a time of 18.58 seconds. www.youtube.com
